The Berchtesgaden National Park is situated in the south of Germany in Bavaria, right on the border with Austria. It's about 21.000 hectares big and is entirely in state property. The highest point in the Berchtesgaden National Park is the Watzmann with an height of 2713 meters. Six information points provide you with interesting information about the nature reserve. By the way: admission is free!
