Kneifelspitze
The Kneifelspitze (1189 m) is the "home mountain"of the inhabitants of Berchtesgaden.
Known for the most wonderful view of Berchtesgaden and the mountains of Salzburg.
From the top its offers a classic panoramic view of the Berchtesgaden mountain world including the Watzmann.
The hike starts at the Maria Gern pilgrim's church (730 m).
The climb to the Kneifelspitze is relatively short, ca. 90 minutes.
The cosy mountain inn "Paulshütte" with the panorama terrace invites you for a lunch.
