Schönau
From the Hochlenzer on the Obersalzberg you have a splendid view of Schönau with the Grünstein and the Watzmann. Accessable across the Hammerstiel parking (750 m) in Schönau am Königssee the climb to the Grünsteinhütte (1200 m) and to the top (1304 m) starts. The Gründsteinhütte is known for its delicacies, such as Kaiserschmarrn with cowberries or savory bacon dumplings with sauerkraut. Thus fortified you walk to the Kühroint (1420 m). The view from the Archen platform of the Königssee or the Watzmann massif is breathtaking.
